HISTORY OF FIRM (current as of August 2004) M. Block & Associates Ltd. (MBA) has been practicing Geotechnical Engineering since 1959 in the province of Manitoba. In 1966, the firm was incorporated as a limited company and is wholly owned by Jeffrey Block, P. Eng.. MBA has two CSA Certified laboratories, one in Winnipeg, Manitoba and the newly opened lab in Dryden, Ontario. STAFF There are seven employees presently working for M. Block & Associates. There is one registered Professional Civil Engineer, Mr. Jeffrey Block, P. Eng., five CSA Certified technicians and one CET. Mr. Jeffrey Block, is a P. Eng. in Manitoba and Ontario since 1994 and 1999, respectively. The project engineer has managed the engineering department since 1995 and has been involved in environmental and geotechnical investigations of projects of a large magnitude over these years. |
